2'x4' Solar Pool Mat
This serves as your primary table cover. The "bubble side down" strategy initially protects your table and provides a flat surface for your layout. Flipping it to "bubble side up" adds the necessary friction to encourage the wool fibers to shrink and lock together during the fulling process.

2'x4' Bubble Wrap
Acts as your immediate workspace.
The texture provides the agitation needed to migrate fibers through one another.
Use bubble side up or down as needed.

2'x4' Fabric Mesh
Essential for the "wetting" phase. It keeps your delicate fiber layouts and surface designs from shifting when you first apply soapy water and begin rubbing.

2'x9' 1 mm Plastic Sheeting
This is long enough to completely "sandwich" a project, which is vital when you need to flip a large piece over without disturbing the layout or during the rolling process.

27.5" Solid Pool Noodle & Nylon Ties
These are used for the "rolling" stage. Roll the project around the noodle to create a log and secure it with the ties. Secure the ties with one overhand knot and then rotate 180 degrees and tie another overhand knot if possible. This is all that is needed to keep the log secure and knots flat during table rolling.

13"x18" Bamboo Mat
The ridges of the bamboo provide high friction, which is perfect for shrinking and hardening the felt into its final durable state. Roll the piece up in the bamboo mat towards the end of the fulling process and apply even pressure while rolling the entire unit on a flat surface.
